How to add/invite a new referrer to the portal
Once you've logged into your Lend account. Head on over to the 'Referrers' section on the left hand side of the screen.
After this has been clicked, click on the section 'Create New Referrer'.
You'll need to enter a few details about the business, Nickname (if an individual referrer - this could be a friend or work colleague), Referral Business' ABN/ACN, address & what region they are from in Australia.
How to add/invite an existing referrer to the portal
Now after you've entered in these details about the referrer, it will be appear down the bottom of the page, you'll now be able to click on a referrer. In this section, you can edit the following sections 'Business Details, Access, People & Payment'. Now, if you click on the People section on the left hand side of the screen, you'll be able to add in Referral People. Click + Add Person.
Following this, you will have to enter in some basic contact information about the referrer, assign a consumer and commercial broker to all of these applications that the referrer will submit (this section is completely optional).
Once all the information on this page has been completed, you can click on the light blue button 'Send Portal Invitation' (this will now send a referral portal invitation link to the client mentioned above) & select 'Add Person' down on the bottom right hand corner to complete this task. The referrer will be sent a link in their email, they'll need to reset their password in order to log into the Referral Portal so they can start submitting applications.

Once the referrer has been set up, they'll need to log in to the Referral Portal Website with their credentials (image noted above).
Now that the user is logged in, they'll be greeted on the Dashboard page, where some basic information regarding the leads they have submitted will be shown such as; Last 7 Days Activity, Monthly Activity & Any Potential Earning they may receive for a deal that has settled.
If the referrer would like to submit a deal, they can head on over to the 'Add Lead' option on the lend hand side of the web page, select what type of lead they would like to create (either a consumer or commercial lead), enter in some basic contact information, purpose, amount finance, notes & add in any additional documents to the application. Once all this has been completed, they can hit the 'Submit' button on the bottom the page & the broker will be notified of a new application in their pipeline.
Any information regarding an open lead will be shown in the 'Open' section of the left hand side of the screen. This will show basic information such as the client name, amount requested, status of the deal & the date of the last status update.
If the referrer would like to see any lost leads, they can head over to the 'Lost' section on the left hand side of the screen where the lead information will be displayed.
Any 'Settled Leads' will appear in this next section, like mentioned previously, it will show the clients name, amount requested, status of the deal & the date of the last status update (as funded).
If your referrer would like to see any potential commissions, this will be shown in the 'Commissions' section here. Any information regarding commission payments that are updated on a funded deal in Lend will be shown on the right-hand side of this page here.
Adding notes to communicate with your referrer
If you'd like to send a short note to your referrer, you'll need to head to the Summary section (left hand side of the screen) of the application in Lend. You'll then scroll down the bottom of this page to Activity. Now you can type a note in the text box as per the image below. Once you've entered in the text, hit the button Add Note.
Secondly, once this note has been added to the application, you'll then need to click on the grey eye pictured below to allow your referrer to see this note on their side of the portal.
Our Lend CRM platform will then notify you that this has been updated successfully, this will be shown in the top right hand corner of the screen. You'll also be able to confirm this has been successfully updated by the blue eye now having a tick next to the icon (pictured below).
If your referrer now goes on their Referral Portal Login, then down to the Open Leads section they will now be able to see the note shown in the broker's system.
