Variables

Lend Sign enables you to create custom templates that automatically adapt based on dynamic content (variables). These variables insert essential data into the final document, helping ensure accuracy and personalisation.

What Are Variables?

Variables allow you to insert real-time data directly into your template. Common variables include details like:

  • Business Name

  • Client Name

  • Address

  • Email

  • Current Date

Variables are grouped into specific data categories, helping you organise and locate the right information to customise your templates.

Recipient Variables and Blocks

When requesting signatures, you may need multiple recipients to sign. Lend Sign makes this easy by repeating recipient data for each individual, which is managed using Blocks.

Each template must include at least one Recipient Block, which consists of:

  • Recipient Variables (e.g., name, email, role)

  • Signature Block for collecting signatures from each recipient

Using Blocks ensures that all recipient details are automatically applied for each individual who needs to sign, streamlining the signing process.
