Date Automations
Date Automations trigger automatically based on a specified date and condition, unlike Manual Status or Lender Status Automations. These automations help streamline follow-ups, such as sending reminders when required actions haven't been completed.
What Are Date Automations?
Date Automations execute an action when a certain date arrives and a specified condition is metβor remains unmet.
For example, if an applicant hasn't completed their Ask Applicant form within two days of your request, a reminder SMS can be sent automatically.
There are two types of Date Automations:
Simple Date Automations β Triggered based on fixed dates, such as Date of Birth or License Expiry.
Last Requested Automations β Triggered when a customer has yet to fulfill a requirement, such as submitting a document or providing consent.
General Functionality
In both cases, you can set a delay by specifying a positive or negative number of days from the selected date. This determines when the automation will execute the action.
Setting Up a Date or Expiry Automation
Select the relevant field (e.g., Date of Birth, License Expiry).
Specify how many days before or after the date the action should occur.
Choose an action, such as sending an email or SMS.
Ensure you have a pre-configured email or SMS template for the automation.
Setting Up a Last Requested Application Automation
This automation is typically used for sending reminders when a client has not completed an Ask Applicant requirement.
Select Last Requested Application from the Trigger options.
The condition is pre-set to check the Application Status, which can be:
Asked by Broker (default and required setting)
Edited by Client
Marked as Complete by Client
Locked by Broker
Unlocked by Broker
Do not modify this conditionβLend already notifies you when a client edits or completes a request.
Set a time delay in the Trigger section. The system will check after this period if the Application Status is still Asked by Broker.
Configure an email or SMS reminder in the Actions section using a pre-set template.
Setting Up a Last Requested Bank Statements Automation
Note: Lend already provides system notifications when a customer uploads Bank Statements. Use this automation only for follow-up reminders.
Select Last Requested Bank Statements from the Trigger options.
The condition is pre-set to check Bank Statements Uploaded = No (do not modify this condition).
Set a time delay for when the system should check if the customer has still not uploaded at least one bank statement.
Configure an email or SMS reminder in the Actions section.
Setting Up a Last Requested Consent Automation
This functions the same way as the Bank Statements Automation.
Select Last Requested Consent from the Trigger options.
The condition is pre-set to check if the Consent checkbox = No (do not modify this condition).
Set a time delay for when the system should check if consent has still not been provided.
Configure an email or SMS reminder in the Actions section.
By setting up these automations, you can ensure timely follow-ups without manual intervention, improving efficiency and customer engagement.
