How to build referrer profiles

  1. Select referrer on the left-side of the screen, after you have clicked onto the referrer page you will need to select 'create new referrer' as per the screenshot below.

  1. A pop-up box will then populate in which you can enter a nickname, attach an ABN (this can be skipped) and you can also attach an address & region to the Referrer's profile.

  1. You will then be able to custom create your own referrer category which you can assign to this referrer.

  1. You can then move forward to the access section where you can select wether all users have access to this referrer or you can pick which of your users will be able to assign deals to this referrer.

  1. You can now add referrer individual's to the overarching referrer profile. You can click the add person button to add a new individual. I have also highlighted a few other sections of note, see an explanation below:

  • Referrer portal: Here you can hide referrer commissions table's and referrer status updates within all users referrer portal access.

  • Active/inactive: This is to toggle between the list of active and inactive referrer user's

  • Three dot's edit button: From here you can click on any referrer user to edit any of their details or individual referrer portal access functions.

  1. Once you click on '+ Add Person' a pop-up box will then populate in which the user can enter this information relating to the referrer. They can also select if they would like for another user to be automatically assigned to a particular product type when a referrer sends a deal to Lend. Please see some further information below regarding the portal settings:

  • Admin button: Enabling this will allow the referrer user the ability to see all deals in which other referrer users may send to the broker's Lend account. This permission is best utilised for managers of a referring business that wants visibility of all referrer users deals.

  • Commission button: Disabling this button will hide the commission sections and is best utilised for referrers in which brokers do not pay commissions to.

  • Status updates: Disabling this button will hide the status name & the date of the last status update, this would be disabled for referrers in which you do not want them to see the internal status you update a deal to.

  • Send Portal Invitation: Sending the portal invitation will send an email to this referrer user asking them to create a password so that they can ultimately log into their referrer portal.

  • Get Direct Link: Lend created this button so users can send the portal invitation link manually as we had issues previously with some referrer users not receiving this email invitation.

  1. The last section is the payment section. In here you can store the relevant commission splits for the corresponding product types and you can also store the banking information of your referrers for payment purposes. You can also generate a template referrer agreement to send to your referrer or you can upload your own executed agreement. You will also notice that when you settle a deal for a referrer, a RCTI will be generated from the system. See some further info below regarding the RCTI functionality:

  • Email to point of contact: You can email the RCTI to the referrer so that they can keep this RCTI on file.

  • Mark as paid: After the RCTI has been sent you will then be able to mark this as paid to complete this record.

  • Delete: This will delete the RCTI from this list.
